You may use EchoGenic only for lawful, authorized purposes and in accordance with the Terms of Service. You must respect privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, professional duties, animal welfare, and applicable registry and industry rules.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Accessing accounts, records, systems, or data without permission, or bypassing access controls.
- Submitting false identity, ownership, veterinary, genetic, pedigree, verification, or professional credential information.
- Using platform information to facilitate fraud, unlawful transfer, discrimination, animal cruelty, or unsafe breeding or care.
- Uploading malware, unlawful content, infringing material, or highly sensitive personal information not reasonably needed for the service.
- Scraping, harvesting, probing, reverse engineering, overloading, or disrupting the service except where law expressly permits security research.
- Sharing credentials, reselling access without permission, or using automated systems beyond documented interfaces and agreed limits.
- Misrepresenting EchoGenic outputs as professional advice, a registry certification, or a guarantee of health, traits, ownership, or outcomes.
3. Records and professional access
Only upload or share records when you have authority to do so. Professional verification must reflect the verifier’s actual knowledge and scope of practice. Access should be limited to people who need it and revoked when that need ends.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, preserve relevant evidence, remove or restrict content, rate-limit activity, suspend access, or notify affected organizations or authorities when reasonably necessary. We aim to act proportionately and will provide notice where practical and lawful.
5. Report a concern
Report suspected misuse, unsafe activity, or security concerns through the Contact page. For an urgent threat to people or animals, contact the appropriate local emergency or animal-welfare authority first.
